Quality Assurance at every Manufacturing Stage

Although clamps, springs and fasteners are often a small component of an overall equipment package, their functionality and reliability are paramount to the performance of the system as a whole. For this reason, the Belfin Group operates a stringent quality assurance system, which ensures that scrupulous attention to detail is built in at every stage of design and manufacture of our products.

Computer Aided Design and Manufacture

Computer Aided Designs are used to ensure that effective and efficient designs are generated. Where necessary, FMEA techniques can be applied to optimise clamp design, prior to prototype design verification using comprehensive in-house test facilities. Following design completion, design and manufacturing details are entered into the integrated business system and customer requirements are added to generate materials and manufacturing demand.

Materials

All materials used by The Belfin Group are certified. In addition, manufacturing quality is monitored throughout using a combination of in-process and final inspection/testing.

Quality Standards

Individual Companies within the Belfin Group have been successful in achieving ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification for attaining a high level of quality and workmanship in its manufacturing plants.
